A 501(c)(3) nonprofit for youth mental wellness

Help youth understand their minds.
So they can shape their lives.

We give youth the tools to know themselves, connect with others, and build a life they're excited to live.

Launching early 2027: the first Changing Humanity program

Keep going

Imagine what's possible when youth understand their minds.

Through music, neuroscience, social-emotional learning, mentorship, and meaningful connection, we give youth the tools to understand themselves and the confidence to become who they want to be.

The experience

It starts with an experience. And grows with them.

We come into a youth organization and create something deliberately joyful, bringing youth together through music, connection, discovery, and celebration.

Because learning lands differently when you want to be there.

We're not showing up because something is wrong. We're showing up because we believe in what's possible.

One experience. An ongoing journey.

01 · The experience

One day starts it.

Youth come together to connect, discover, learn, and celebrate.

02 · The program stays

The journey continues.

The organization receives the program, giving youth continued access to the tools, practices, and connection introduced that day.

03 · Youth grow with it

No finish line. No graduation.

The program continues alongside them through the formative years ahead.

The experience sparks something. Changing Humanity helps it grow.

The community behind the mission

It started with a belief. Then people came together.

In October 2025, our inaugural gala brought together a community that believed in what Changing Humanity could become.

The community came together.
Now the experience begins.

Founder’s Note

Every changemaker has a moment when they realize they're meant to do more.

Jacqueline Ko, founder of Changing Humanity

For me, it came in 2018, when I lost my mother to suicide.

In an instant, my world shifted. The sense of safety and predictability I had known was gone, and I was forced to confront the raw, unpredictable reality of life and grief.

It was earth-shatteringly painful. But it also transformed me.

I learned that life isn't about controlling outcomes. It's about learning to move through the unknown, finding meaning in it, and growing from it. That journey inward continues to shape the work I do today.

As a mother of three, I see how much more complex life has become for today's youth. Constant pressure, comparison, and digital noise can make it difficult to simply be still, understand what they're feeling, and know who they are.

I believe we can give them something different: the tools to understand themselves before life becomes overwhelming.

Music was one of the ways I found my footing. From learning violin as a child to using music to process grief, it taught me discipline, presence, emotional awareness, and the power of connection.

Those experiences became the foundation for Changing Humanity.

The name isn't about changing everyone. It's about igniting change from within.

This isn't about perfection or performance. It's about giving youth a stronger sense of themselves, from the inside out.

Because when we change what happens within us, it changes how we show up in the world, how we connect, lead, love, and inspire others.

And that's where real change begins.

One person.One connection.One life at a time.

Changing Humanity began with my story, but it was never meant to be just mine. It's an invitation to all of us to be part of something bigger: helping youth build the inner foundation to not just get through life, but to truly live it.

If you believe that every youth deserves that chance, I invite you to join us.

Every day is a reason to celebrate life.

Mental wellness isn't only about getting through the difficult moments. It's about knowing yourself, connecting with others, seeing what's possible, and being present for the life you're living.

Your life is worth celebrating. Every single day.

The vision

What if this became part of growing up?

Mental wellness shouldn't begin when something goes wrong.

Imagine a generation that grows up understanding their minds, knowing themselves, connecting deeply with others, and having tools they can return to throughout their lives.

That is the future Changing Humanity is working to build.

Launching early 2027

The first Changing Humanity program is coming. And it begins with an experience.

We're preparing to launch Changing Humanity with our first youth community, beginning with a live experience filled with music, inspiration, connection, discovery, and celebration.

But the experience is only the beginning. From there, the program stays with the organization, giving youth continued access to the tools, practices, and support they can grow with in the years ahead.

One community will be first. Our vision is for many more to follow.

Be part of the launch

Help us bring Changing Humanity to more youth.

Every contribution helps us create experiences, provide ongoing tools and support, and bring Changing Humanity to more youth organizations.

This is bigger than funding a single day. It's helping give youth something they can carry with them for years.

You choose your amount on the next page, and you can make it a monthly gift there too.

Help youth understand their minds. So they can shape their lives.

Changing Humanity

Know yourself. Connect with others. Discover what's possible. Celebrate life.

This is just the beginning.
